Multi-technology capability to complete the whole part.
The service combines assessment, programming, machining, secondary operations and dimensional validation. The route is defined by geometry, material, tolerances, volume and the condition of the incoming stock.
Where to get a part CNC machined in Colombia?
Custom metal or engineering-plastic parts: shafts, bushings, rollers, plates, machinery spare parts and mold and tooling components, in steel, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys.
A drawing or CAD model is ideal. If you only have the part, we digitize it with 3D scanning and rebuild its geometry through reverse engineering before machining.
We handle single parts, spares and special parts, as well as repeat work subject to quantity and process evaluation.
Machining is done at our plant in Bogotá (Cra 72 J Bis # 34-74 Sur), alongside casting, welding and dimensional inspection, so a part does not have to go through several shops.
Types and scope.
Machining of surfaces, pockets, holes, plates and prismatic or 3D geometry. Ideal for: Cavities, inserts, bases, plates and technical components.
Additional access and machining around the part when geometry and workholding allow. Ideal for: Components with multiple faces or continuous surfaces.
Machining of rotational geometry, diameters, faces, bores and threads. Ideal for: Shafts, bushings, rings, rollers and cylindrical components.
Electrode-formed details in conductive materials, depending on geometry and scope. Ideal for: Cavities, corners, deep features and hard-to-reach areas.
Machining of larger parts and plates within the published capacity. Ideal for: Patterns, plates, non-ferrous materials and technical plastics, subject to evaluation.
In-house processes for surfacing, preparation and component recovery. Ideal for: Plates, bases and long parts, within capacity.

Actual maximum dimensions depend on geometry, weight, workholding, tolerances, material, process and finish. Every project is validated with the Fundimoldes technical team.
Validate dimensional capacity for my project →How we work.
We analyze the drawing, CAD, sample, material, dimensions, tolerances, finish, quantity and condition of the raw stock.
We select the machine, workholding, sequence, tools, machining allowance and inspections.
We generate the CAM strategy, datums, setups and cutting conditions.
We perform milling, turning, EDM, routing, planing or combined operations.
We verify the agreed features through inspection, 3D scanning or comparison against the drawing.
We deliver the part and the records included in the commercial scope.
Technical considerations.
The in-house machinery table lists the maximum travel of each machine: up to 3000 mm in X (CNC router and hydraulic planer) and up to 1000 mm in Z (machining center type B). Each actual part must be validated for weight, workholding, tooling, travel and geometry.
Listed materials are steels, aluminum, non-ferrous alloys and technical plastics; machinability and material condition must be confirmed.
There is no single tolerance for the whole service. It depends on size, geometry, machine, setup, material, finish and measurement method.
A toleranced drawing, CAD, material, treatment, quantity, functional surfaces and raw stock condition reduce quoting uncertainty.

Common questions.
What is the largest part you can machine?
Published capacity reaches 3000 mm on the X axis for the CNC router, with other capacities per machine. Feasibility is validated by X/Y/Z dimensions, weight, geometry, access, workholding and process.
What materials do you machine?
Steels, aluminum, non-ferrous alloys and technical plastics, subject to specification and evaluation.
Can you make a part from a sample without a drawing?
Yes. 3D scanning and reverse engineering can be added before machining.
Do you provide a dimensional report?
Dimensional inspection, 3D scanning or checks against the drawing can be included, depending on the agreed features and scope.
Do you make one-off parts?
Yes, the service is geared to molds, spare parts and special parts, as well as repeat work subject to evaluation.
Can you cast the part and then machine it?
Yes. For aluminum parts with complex geometry or in series, a near-net casting can be poured and only the functional surfaces machined, all within the same plant.
Services that combine with machining.
Reproducing parts from a physical sample.
Sample digitizing and inspection against CAD.
Near-net castings so only what matters is machined.
Rebuilding worn parts before re-machining.
Machining of inserts, cavities and replacement components.
