Industrial mold manufacturing, from design to finished part.
We design, cast, machine and maintain molds for injection, blow molding, rotational molding, thermoforming, EPS, polyurethane and casting. One plant and one accountable partner, from the first idea to the validated part.
What do you need to manufacture?
Pick the starting point closest to your project. Each path leads to the technical information and the team that solves it.
A new mold
For injection, blow molding, rotational molding, thermoforming, EPS, polyurethane, vulcanizing or casting: designed around your part, your volume and your machine.
See mold lines → 02Repair or modify a mold
Maintenance, weld rebuilding, engineering changes and overhaul, even for molds we did not build.
See maintenance → 03Aluminum cast parts
Green sand, gas-cured sand and permanent mold, with in-house patternmaking and machining of functional surfaces.
See casting → 04Machine a critical part
CNC milling and turning, EDM and bench fitting for cavities, inserts, shafts and precision components.
See metalworking → 05A spare part with no drawings
We digitize the part with 3D scanning, rebuild the CAD model and manufacture it with the right process.
See parts and spares → 06Validate a prototype
FDM and SLA resin 3D printing to check form, fit and assembly before investing in tooling.
See additive manufacturing →Four specialties, one quality standard.
Each division holds its own technical know-how and shares the same plant, the same dimensional control and the same quality system.

Molds for every conversion process.
Fifteen technical lines, each with its own sheet: how the process works, what mold construction it requires and what information we need to quote.
One accountable partner, from engineering to maintenance.
A mold usually passes through a designer, a patternmaker, a foundry, a machine shop and, years later, whoever repairs it. Every handoff adds time, shipping costs and risk of errors.
At Fundimoldes that chain happens under one roof, with an assigned project coordinator and dimensional control at every stage.
| Fragmented chain | Fundimoldes | |
|---|---|---|
| Suppliers | One per stage: design, patternmaking, casting, machining | Just one, with critical processes in-house |
| Accountability | Split across shops | One assigned project coordinator |
| Information | Drawings and changes traveling by email | Portal with schedule, 3D assemblies and warranties |
| Dimensional control | At the end, when fixing costs more | At every stage, with 3D scanning against CAD |
| After delivery | Another supplier to repair or modify | Maintenance, repair and upgrades of the same tooling |
From your requirement to the validated part, in five steps.
Send your requirement
Drawing, 3D model, physical sample or just photos and approximate dimensions.
Technical review
An engineer reviews geometry, material, volume and process. We reply within 24 business hours.
Proposal and schedule
Scope, acceptance criteria, deliverables and dates defined before we start.
Delivery and support
Validated part or tooling, documentation, warranty and maintenance throughout its service life.
In-house capabilities for every stage.
Tell us what you need to manufacture.
You don’t need everything defined. With a description, photos or approximate dimensions we can give you initial technical guidance.
Before you start your project.
What types of molds do you make?+
We make molds for plastic injection, EPS injection, blow and extrusion blow molding, rotational molding, thermoforming, thermopressing, rigid and flexible polyurethane, vulcanizing, molded pulp and fiber, food, and permanent molds for casting, plus molds with embedded cooling coils and special parts. Each line has its technical sheet in the product catalog.
Do you work with companies outside Colombia?+
Yes. We work with clients throughout Colombia and in more than 9 countries across Latin America and North America, with technical documentation, packaging and tracking designed for remote collaboration.
How long does it take to build a mold?+
It depends on size, complexity, number of cavities and material. The schedule is defined in the technical proposal before we start, and each stage’s progress can be checked in the project portal.
How can I track my project’s progress?+
Every project has an assigned coordinator and a workspace in the app.fundimoldes.com portal, where you can check the schedule, 3D assemblies, warranties and user manuals.
What happens after the mold is delivered?+
The tooling is delivered with its documentation and warranty on record. Throughout its service life we can provide preventive maintenance, repair it or modify it when the part design changes.
